Where did you find these silkie eggs??

Sorry I missed this : ). I got them from a breeder in Washington that I have gotten many many eggs from. She has an ad on Craigslist.

I love seeing all the silkies and silkie babies, I just love them!!!

I just added one more egg yesterday... Bator is hold steady around 100 degrees and humidity around 30%, not bad for an unheated room and constant downpour outside!

I have an auto turner, but two of the rails are removed. So I just take the ones needing to go into lockdown off the auto turner. I up the humidity to about 60%.

Or at least I plan on that... But maybe I'll add a hatcher to my Christmas list

The smell is gone today, I'm stumped.. I guess it wasn't coming from the bator after all .. Or it was all in my head..

Just dropped the last egg in the bator and gave my broody some eggs this morning. All totaled up now

I have 46 eggs set. 36 LF cochin and 10 black sex links. I added 2 on the 12th.

I use at least that. It verifies temperature and let's you know if one is reading off
