She's not a true ameraucana, she's an easter egger. Ameraucanas have white skin.

Slate colored legs are not ok? The cockerel has slate colored legs without the greenish tint. Still an EE?

I would tend to think he is an easter egger also if he came from the same place. What color is he?

The SOP says that the blue ams. legs are slate, with the bottoms of their feet white.

So is the green tint caused by a bird with yellow skin and slate legs rather than white skin and slate legs?

Very nice I am hoping to find about 10 or 12 nice Amer any advice on where to find any in Indiana? Also have you ever had one lay a pink egg i have only seen blue and green Thanks Bob

Ameraucanas don't lay pink or green eggs, Bob. Easter Eggers on the other hand, lay any color at all, though most often green. The definition of an Ameraucana calls for them to lay only eggs in the blue color family.

When I went last year I was so disappointed that I did not have any birds with me. I was thinking the whole time I could have done very well.
