Nah- it wasn't one of the lavs. It's just a blue copper marans with a really dark face. I cleaned all the juvie pens this morning so I knew it had to be a young bird.
I think it's pretty as well- like a raven

I'd never heard of "gypsy face" - it's beautiful!

HappyMtn- here is a picture of the 1st egg our pullet laid today, she is from the W/BW eggs you sent us for test hatching. It is a very light green/bluish color it was very hard to get a good picture showing true color.
