Happy birthday to me!
I love that you used your grandmother's old cast iron skillet. Thanks
That's a lot of great history! I've had mine for 40+ years. My sister gave it to me, and I think of her every time I use it.She had given it to Ma they used it for chicken the only thing they did not boil so it is more than 100 years old but solid as the day made
Chop up a potato, cook it then add all those omelette ingredients and you have a frittata. Yum.
I don’t do fungi either. I can’t get past the texture. No Fungi here I am not quite as bad as Bullchick
Very nice! My French husband would love it if I made him an omelet like that. With a lot of advice from @rjohns39 I made an omelette today! It's not perfect but it sure looks better than any other one I've made.

That looks good! I never thought of honey or the spices or the mustard. Always used dill pickles, mayo, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper of course. I’ll have to try yours!Made tarter sauce but one addition to the recipe was the cloves add a bit of spice bite to it
Tartar Sauce
1/4 cup pickles dill and sweet
4 tbsp yellow Mustard
4 tbsp Dijon Mustard
3 tbsp Honey
1 cup Mayo
3 tbsp Dill
2 tsp ground Cloves
Make at least 3 hours before serving.
