I think all of the feathers looking so different makes it a very attractive color.

Not sure I can label it my absolute favorite though....I like so many of them!

Hi. I am new to this breed and was wondering if anyone could advise at what age I should be able to sex them? I mine are six weeks old and I think I have one male and one female, although I'm worried the female could still turn out to be a boy. Should they have definite red combs by six weeks if they are male?

This is my six week old chick. I think it's a she and i also think she may be lavender cuckoo. Shes from ebay eggs advertised as black and white cuckoo and her hatchmate is black and white cuckoo coloured so does that make her lavender?

I agree with your guesses as to sex, hopefully and maybe, BUT they could both be male, one just faster to mature than the other.

I can't ever tell for sure until those rooster feathers start coming in.

As to color. no help here, sorry.

they are so adorable, especially that little pullet in the third pic! That darker cockerel's colouring is gorgeous as well.
