Be sure you let me know if you're going to that show in March! I am seriously thinking I need to go to that one, if for no other reason than to bring Rusty to JJ, if no one takes him before that.

I am sitting here watching some chicks hatch and thinking about driving to Georgia in march.

I will be watching babies also but will space my hatching out a few days so I wont have any on that weekend.

We usually set it up well so only hatch once every week and put in eggs once a week..........keeps a nice pace.

I am only getting a few eggs but I put them in on Saturday evening so I have a hatch on Friday nights.

will do my best...yes Tom goes to all of them everywhere, every time. Don Hartman most likely will come to it too knowing him.

The bird I got from him at the Oklahoma show is doing great: LilGuy. Sure started something!

Him and his wife is hosting this show in Dalton on Feb 4th.

Went back out to get pics of the pullets. Aimee was hard at work in her little egglaying "hut". It's just a piece of cardboard bent over the top of her favorite nest since she seems to like privacy.






Penny the Pocket Pet, who would be happy if I velcro-ed her to my side, finally let me snap a picture of her. She has the best rose comb of the three pullets, but her tail set is somewhat pinched. She's a fat little thing, isn't she? Second of the three pics of her is in my lap, her favorite spot other than underneath my chin.
