Could be, I've seen all kinds of colors, white, black, brown, a mix of those. No issues so far knock on wood. I tried a tiny dose of garlic when they were chicks, they opted out and preferred the probiotics.Has it been warm where you are? Sometimes whiter poops can be caused by extra hydration.
Its an immune booster. Some people think it is a concern for the same reason as onions, causes a type of anemia that makes the body attack red blood cells, but garlic is different than other allium vegetables. This article talks about it for dogs which is the same for chickens. https://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com/garlic-for-dogs-poison-or-medicine/Curious, what is the benefit of garlic in water?

if I ever feel a cold coming on I crunch and swallow a clove of garlic and it works like a charm but holy moly yes it's an intense few moments!Try eating a clove straight yourself and then you might get an idea how small of a dosage if anything at all.
