Crowing
This is Lucy, our amazing LGD (Livestock guardian dog). She is awesome with any animals we bring to our small farm, and does a great job protecting our chickens. We absolutely love her!
Lucy is hopefully expecting puppies on or near Thanksgiving this year! (2021)
This will he her second and absolute last litter of babies before she gets spayed. We are very excited to have puppies running around here again for the short time they stay. They will be Great Pyrenees/Anatolian/Akbash mix.
Here are some pics of her first litter:
(She had 10 healthy, happy, fluffy babies!)
(The girl on the right was a "twin" so was smaller than the others. She shared an umbilical cord and placenta with her brother that was solid white.)
I figured I would document this pregnancy and litter because it will be her last. We do not believe in over breeding and do not believe you should breed if you do not have planned homes for the litter and money to buy food, shots, and wormer. We make sure all the puppies go to good homes before letting them leave at a minimum of 8 to 10 weeks old. We raise these puppies around animals so we can try to ensure they do well with livestock.
Please do not comment on this thread if you have something hateful to say, we try our best for our dogs and have good values when it comes to taking care of them.
