I like fish cooked in its own juices on a low bbq flame. After a while, the smaller bones dissolve. Very tasty

We cooked Mackerel that way and it was really good. Normally it has too many bones.your making me hungry, love cooking trout like that (only have cooked brook and rainbow that way) but over a fire during summer time.
never had mackerel before, just googled searched it seems to look pretty good health wise, we don't get much fresh fish where we live (middle of the Canadian prairies) unless of course you catch in your selfWe cooked Mackerel that way and it was really good. Normally it has too many bones.

Does anyone have a greenhouse?
I made a cattle panel GH. It's 8 x 8, and 6' tall. 2 raised beds on either side of the center path. The end doors are made of aluminum combination windows complete with screens! (bought windows at habitat restore for $10 each.) Unfortunately, I have about 40 bags of leaves stored in it now, so no fall planting. Generally, if well tended I can harvest in it from Sept through early to mid Dec, then start harvesting again late Feb, early March.
