What treat did your chickies get today?

My 17 feathered kids got eight chopped, boiled eggs in the early morning. Later in the afternoon, they got about over a quart of raw milk. They also got a few outer leaves from a cabbage I harvested from the garden for tonight's human kiddie's dinner.



Of course, they always have layer feed and water available.

BOSS and apple slices. We had a warm day and lots of free ranging today...the best treat of all.

This morning they got leftover beans & rice, and brussel sprouts in a cream sauce.

Some hot oatmeal with flax in it!

2 Scrambled eggs with olives, freshly laid by them!!!! They loved it, and it warmed them up a bit.

I found a jar of baked beans I canned over the summer but did not use in the back of the fridge, also, some old sour cream, and a jar of chicken noodle soup I made but also got pushed to the back of the fridge.

Stuffing and gravy, cottage fries with a dried mealworm topping. Yum!

Super mealworms, crickets, and alfalfa! they loved the bugs!!!!

Grapes cranberries cucumber zuccinni tomatoes apples and pears. I get a big box of stuff the local store cant sell 3x weekly lots of stuff for the girls
