Worming chickens

If they were mine and I was going to a show I would treat one day. I would not want to risk them looking off at a show. When you come back, see if you can get some poop tested and treat accordingly.

A couple drops of Poultry Nutri drench orally before the show will work lol.
 
DE nor wormers can penetrate/kill worm eggs. They are encased in hard shells. Some types of worm eggs can last for years in the most harsh soil conditions.
 
Yes you can use cattle pour on. It gets all worms, lice and mites. I use 3 drops per bird around the vent area is where I put it. They say you have to hold all egg sales if you use it. Guess that is up to you to do that.
It does treat mites and lice, but it does not treat all worms. :idunno.

Dose is 0.045 ml to 0.9 ml per pound of body weight topically anywhere on the bird.

A five pound bird would get no less than 0.23 ml and no more than 0.45 ml.
