A good idea. Thanks for sharing. As others mentioned, photos would help. You can still update this with a few.

It's a good start but this is only for those that have a pen like you do. You could go into this in more detail and cover different types of coops and/or methods of adding ventilation.

A very interesting topic! Pyewacket is living the good life since you found out about spirit animals. I'm afraid to find out. Nice write-up about them though and helpful links for anyone wanting further information.

Very informative. Good to know some tips should the ones we hear come visiting ever.

I would add some links, like to all the different types of owls for example.

This belongs in a section for how to decorate your coop, but we don't have one of those. It's a neat idea, but what does the coop look like inside?

You mention building this again. If you do, please take pictures and explain your steps in building this. It's just a photo spread otherwise and does nobody much good if they wanted to build it. It looks great!

I looks wonderful and there's some great innovative ideas here. It would be so much better if you'd put explanations above or below each picture. That would help us understand how to perhaps build our own like yours.

I like the idea and the end result, but it's only pictures with no explanation. If I wanted to built this, I'd get no help from your article except the initial picture of what it looks like when done.

It looks very functional though.

A beautiful coop and I loved the progress story. There are many innovative ideas and thoughtfulness involved. Great pictures too!

The only thing that might help someone build this is a bit more on the measurements of like the header, how you wound up making such a great roof, etc., and a materials list.

Nice coop!!

Great article ensuring we know our non-stick cookware may not be labeled Teflon, but quite possibly still is.

Having parrots for over 20 years, I know it's a well-known fact that Teflon can kill or cause damage to them. Your article would be much better if you could cite a couple of these sources for the reader to read on more about it if they choose.

I'm all for anything to kill those pesky buggers!

I think a "puddle" needs to be explained though as putting bleach in a puddle where frogs, chickens, etc., are wouldn't be healthy. I presume you're talking about a puddle in a driveway after a rain?

I also agree, cite some sources for your information.

Got it! Yes I meant puddles from the rain in the driveway or yard. Thank you for the review!😁
A rather ingenious idea that is very helpful and explained well.

This is thorough and helpful, but needs photos to show what a prolapsed cloaca looks like and progression of improvement.

You could also add an itemized list somewhere to make it easier for someone who may need to purchase the things needed, such as vaseline, Epsom salts, etc.

If you have links to outside or other sources regarding prolapsed cloaca's, those can be helpful too and can be pasted in.

I'll change my rating once you get this spruced up!

It's incomplete if we have to click elsewhere as we're reading along. The photos should go with what you're saying. Just insert them before or after each paragraph or subject.

The photos are in the gallery including the prolapsed cloaca the day it happened. Not sure why you can’t view them.

Good explanation of how-to and helpful pictures.

We have several nipple buckets and bottles but I can see how a thermal one would be beneficial, especially in the summer.

Very informative and thorough.

I'm glad you wrote this and backed it up with factual findings and solid information as I know there is/was a widely followed person on the internet spreading untruths about oatmeal.

You've shown how it is very beneficial to chickens!
