Very informative, but as others have said, this article is in dire need of pictures! Show us the difference in vents, saddles, hackles, wings, etc.

Very thorough on all the reasons chickens might sneeze and when we should be concerned about it. Great links for reading further if one wants to as well!

This is a great article and I know true about the bears as we deal with them around here.

Having some photos go along with your text/paragraphs makes it much more interesting or easier to read. I see some are in the gallery, but most aren't going to take the time to click elsewhere.

Well, I'm a little confused by the fact that the pics can only be accessed through the Gallery. I added them the same way I would add any others - by clicking "attach file" - but is there another way I should do that so the pics end up in the right place?

This is like a new duckling/duck owner's complete manual of raising ducks. So thorough! I was searching for articles to share with a new member so here's the one!

A very unique idea! A little more explanation would be helpful. It seems small but has more room than meets the eye!

I think it's a pretty good article you wrote, but if the explaining you wrote about what you did could be split up to go with the pictures, that makes it easier to read.

Very helpful that you added what you'd change.

We can't see how it turned out, but looks like you did a great job from what we can tell. Just a sentence or two to explain each picture would help.

This is amazing to show what a person can do with some old cabinets. Good explanations and pictures too. Love that heated waterer idea and the treat holder.

Great ingenuity to build this coop out of pallets. I like how you explained each step. Nice job! As you can afford or scrounge, I agree hardware cloth would be better to keep out varments.

I love your spruced-up coop!

It would be neat if you'd explain a little more under some of the pictures what you did or how you did it and explain how it is more bear/varment-proof.

Also, I noticed little things like your DYI waterer, LED light, ramp, automatic door, etc. that you put in. A few lines about all those perks you installed to point them out to folks would be nice too. It helps others trying to build or remodel coops and gives them ideas.

This doesn't really help me make a MHP.

The pictures were good but it's just showing all the pieces and parts but not explaining how you made it. I'm not sure what the weather information was there for.

This would be a tremendously better article if you could put a few lines of explanation above or below each picture.

I have silkies so never have to deal with chickens that fly, but this is a great article for those that do!

I buy eggs, in fact, you have one of my hatching egg sources on there, Indigo Egg. I may use this list sometime when I'm looking at getting some different variety, pretty handy!

Very thorough and helpful for someone else who may have a blind chicken.

You mention pictures but there aren't any.

I would change this line: "A healthy chicken should weigh about 5 - 5.7 lbs." Not all chickens weigh the same. So I would say something like, "Find out what your chicken should weigh so that you can monitor its weight to ensure it's getting enough nutrition."

It's very cute but as with prebuilts, they never hold as many chickens as they say they will. That run for one thing is way too small for even one chicken. If you remodeled this, it would be nice to see.

Very ingenious to use an old swing set but some info on how you did it would be helpful. It doesn't seem like it would survive the elements though.

This is cute and a neat little DYI coop and run. A bit more info on what you bought, repurposed, and how you incorporated into building this would be handy.
