This is the best article out there for those contemplating raising pigeons, or those who have them and need some advice.

This is so informative, thorough, and lots of beautiful pictures to illustrate. A++

Thanks for sharing how you made this work with less-than-cooperative chickens. I loved the evolving story of Edith as she made your coop/run her home as well.

This is an informative read for anyone integrating adult chickens.

Very nicely put about dealing with death of one of our beloved pets.
Nice photos so folks would get the idea, but some explanation of each would have been helpful.

Looks very roomy and sturdy for them.

That lid I would have made in thirds with a light panel in one or two of them. That way we wouldn't be losing all of the heat so easily in cooler weather, and so they could get some light from outside. Then the lamps could be the black ceramic heat lamps so they learn to sleep when it's dark, and be active when it's light.

It's very nice though!

Very thorough. So many don't add wiring diagrams so that was helpful you did!

Some of the pictures were blurring, though we can figure them out, but it would be nicer if those were clear. Nice job!

Such wonderful insight into chicken behaviors! I didn't realize what I observed in our growout pen was SOI, but in reading this, particular chicks/chickens come to mind. Now I've got colored rings around them in my mind. :gig

Very true, most times no need to separate the bully hen if multiple feed and water stations are out there, or just spread the treats around.

Very informational and interesting for sure! Nice job!

Lots of great pictures! I cringe seeing chicken wire for their run, but it appears they're inside of a fence, so guess that makes it a little better.

There's not much explanation for how to build this, and the run is way too small for that many chickens.

I got an education from this article. I've never thought of frying up those chicken or turkey parts for the chickens. Very smart to consider doing it in the fall/winter too, when they're getting fewer or no bugs!

Very informative! Thank you!
Very informative ways of how to get little chicks to feel love and be friendly. Nicely organized to make this easily read. Good job!

I would include some links to articles to back up things you've said or which provide further reading should anyone want more information.

Thank you so much for your review Debbie! Unfortunately though, I do not have links, as these are all ways I have discovered myself of how to socialize with chicks. I could definitely include a link on a few things though! Thanks for the suggestion! :)

Very nice! There are a few build details and by the looks of the reviews, someone was able to build this! You'd need a little know-how to figure it out as is but a lot of pictures help!
Just pictures mostly. There's some explanation of the setup. It's very nice but no build details or materials list to help someone build this.
