Nice compact and rustic looking coop. Just another example of ways to utilize old pallets.

I really liked the detailed pictures. I am planning on building a hoop house style tractor for my next batch of meat birds and am concerned about predators. My first batch of meat birds (only 6) are with my hens and my coop cannot hold an additional 25 birds.

Love the simplicity of this coop! Would love to see additional pics of the building process. I also love the sliding barn door. Our coop also looks slanted because of its placement. We put a level on it multiple times just to be sure!

Would love to see how you decided on this design and more pictures of the interior in use by your pullets. You did a great job and your article is a place to show it off.

This coop needs to be shown off! All the hard work needs to be shown with interior pictures and even the plans used to make it.

Would love to see th plans for this design included. I am sure many others on BYC would like to see how it is laid out in measurements for their own chicken condo complete with viewing window.

I love the idea of a coop on wheels. This article had lots of pictures throughout the process, which were helpful. I also appreciate the honesty of the coop being almost too heavy to move around as much as originally thought.

This is a nice conversion for a small backyard coop. The pictures were helpful and the humor in the article made for a nice read as well.

The coop is lovely, but without plans or details on how you came to decide on this design along with a material list, it would be hard for another member of BYC to create a similar coop.

Overall this article was detailed and had plenty of pictures. I realize that towards the end your build was rushed ( been there, done that). It would be nice to see updates as you added roosts and nesting boxes to the design. It would also be nice to see how your chicks are utilizing the space. Any tips or changes you would have made now that the coop is used regularly?

The overall design and final result are really nice. For an honest review of the article, however, I found it lacking important details. It would be nice to see your plan for the design or an explanation of how/why you settled on this specific design. I also would love to see a material list. Many people come to the coop articles on BYC to find a design that fits their needs and that they can recreate.
This post was really short and lacked important details. How many chickens is it housing? What does the inside space look like? Where did he plan come from?

This is a very nice well designed coop and run. The pictures throughout the process were helpful. The only thing this article is missing is the plan and materials that were used. It would be helpful for anyone on BYC that would like to build a similar coop in their backyard.

What an amazing idea! The pictures and details in the article make it nice for someone who would like to duplicate this coupe. Who says having chickens can’t be fun!

I like the roof of the coop but would love to see additional pictures of the run and how the coop came to be. Others may want to convert a shed into a coop and seeing other’s experiences help them avoid the same mistakes or to have the same successes.

I love the idea of a tractor for chickens to get out of their run but I would love to see the details of how it was made and the measurements.
