This coop turned out nicely...would have been great to see some info on how the repurposed barn was converted for the flock. Good sized run attached to the coop!
I love everything about this coop...the size, the predator protections, the terrific job of building, etc. I'm just terribly glad I didn't have to help anyone build it. Building on that hillside was a real challenge, well done!
Nice looking tractor but I'd be concerned about using the chicken wire as it won't keep predators out. It would be nice to see some pictures on the building process.
The narrative gets "lost" about 1/2 way through but lots of photos and the descriptions given in the first 1/2 are good. Wouldn't recommend using chicken wire for the openings but maybe that's been changed since this was written. Overall, a cute coop!
A good primer on the most often used places to find chickens. One thing I would caution people on is this: "Feed store employees are a great resource for chicken information, too." That can vary wildly store by store (the stores I've gone to in the past, the employees were clueless as to breeds, care, genders, etc.).
Looks cute from the outside and the price to build this coop was great but information on how it was built, photos of the interior, dimensions, etc., are missing.
The outside is kept clean also. I'm outside cleaning as well as inside to keep things looking kept up. They poop yes and I have sand and gravel which is super easy for clean up
