We make yorkshire pudding every year as part of our Xmas day feast. We usually use a 9x13 pan, but I really like the way they look in the muffin tin- looks like we are going to tweak our 2020 Xmas meal. Thanks for sharing!

Italians always say that we first "taste with our eyes" - that is a great plate presentation! And something I'm definitely going to try!

In a society that needs to pay attention to reducing, reusing and recycling, - this a a very creative and adaptive use of an existing structure. Really well done.
I'm sure others with more experience will weigh in - but I didn't see any ventilation near the top of the a-frame. That could be an issue in a hot / humid climate, or a cold climate that will keep the chickens inside.

Really love the concept - well done!

Thanks for checking it out. So far ventilation seems sufficient. The polycarbonate panels don't have a good seal at the top, just an A-frame piece of wood loosely set atop them, so air can escape. I've also cut a window at the top above the pop door that I leave open in summer. It seems to be just about right for ventilation, but in the year it's been in service it has only been used for roosting, so not a lot of moisture/poop buildup.

What a great series of articles. The writing is outstanding, making it easy for a anyone to understand. The processes described, from sample, to reviewing the sample under the microscope, and finally, interpreting what you'll see in the sample is very well organized and easy to understand.
Finally - the details pertaining to the individual type of worms is valuable, even if you choose to have a vet do the test for you - and then you treat your chickens.

Wonderful article that should be in a "Must Read" section somewhere on this site!

Very helpful, both in understanding how a microscope works, but also helps the reader understand what to look for if purchasing a microscope.

Thank you for taking the time to write this article. It was incredibly helpful as I'm presently questioning the symptoms in one of my pullets.

It's absurd how thorough this article with the references and links to other info, products and articles about diseases and illnesses.

This is a must read!

Green tea has caffeine - about half of what a cup of coffee has. Caffeine contains methylxanthine which I believe is toxic to chickens. Can you check your referenced studies to see if your conclusion is accurate?
Thank you for writing this - but I'd need to see the study before I'd believe its beneficial and not harmful.

Hi , yes we all know green tea contains caffeine but 1-5 ml didn't ever hurt a chicken . I'm currently give my both roosters one with walking backwards issue significantly improved and wherever I read there's no such side effects mentioned because the quantity given to chickens is very less then the human once . I will again check and update soon thank you

Saw the new article you wrote on the baffles, and saw the link to your coop page. Lot's a great ideas as I'm looking to expand. Particularly like how you've partitioned off a separate area for brooding, see / no touch area. Love it!
