Good solution for those that don't have trucks! The panels also loop over on themselves pretty easily, so you might be able to use that to your advantage while transporting.

I liked the suggestions for different ways to cook and prepare the meat. I never even thought about roosters being a bit different to store bought chickens. It makes sense, since they would be older and the meat probably tougher!

Very nice tractor! I love the repurposing of the old camper frame. Only thing I would change is swapping the chicken wire for hardware cloth, for better predator protection.

Good article with lots of ideas on what to do with dirty old bedding! I myself go the route of dumping it in the woods.

Great article! Before my bearded dragon passed away, I used to breed Dubia roaches for her. The chickens loved to get the extra males when I did a male purge in the colony.

Nice coop! I love all the build pictures, and the blue color.

I would add at least 2 feet of hardware cloth around the bottom of the run for predator protection - chicken wire is great for keeping chickens in, but won't keep chickens out. You'll also want to change the roosts to be higher than the nesting boxes or you might get your hens sleeping in the nesting boxes and fouling them up.

Looks great for a small flock! Love the use of hardware cloth, much safer than chicken wire.

Would love to see a materials list and perhaps plans if there were any.

Our coop turned out great after 20 weekends of work!
