My birds love apples! I have some old apple trees that drop apples over my bird pastures. The emus will swallow them whole.
My birds love peppers. Bell peppers aren't spicy, but birds don't have the same reaction to capsaicin that mammals do, so they can eat all kinds of peppers without feeling the heat.
