Lots of good ideas! I like recycling the bookshelf into something else. The clean out doors are a nice touch. I laughed when I read about mis-judging how high chicks kick shavings - they get them everywhere!

A nice recycled brooder. I've used the pools too and always wrapped the chicken wire around the outside when they get bigger, but it's always been flimsy. This is a good idea for giving it some strength.

Really cool build! Nice build details and links to everything needed for the project. Always neat to see something get recycled like this.

Unfortunately these prefab coops are often pretty poor quality (and claim they will fit way more chickens than they will!). This article covers some ways to try to improve them and make them last longer and hold up better, which can be helpful to others who have purchased a coop like this.

This is a really cool idea for recycling old items into a mobile chicken coop! The run made with the satellite dish and the cattle panels is a neat addition.

Only thing I would suggest for the article is fixing the formatting a bit - it makes it a little hard to read.

This is an excellent guide for hatching geese. I followed it with great success the first time I was hatching geese, and I still come back to it from time to time.
