My coop started April 14, 2018. We purchased four chickens and two ducklings from the local box farm supply store.
"Ah! Chickens are easy." - Umm, I disagree.
I have two Golden Comets hens named Pixie and Trixie, a Barred Rock rooster named Ruben, and a Rhode Island Red (b@$t@rd) rooster named Red. I named the Pekin ducks Howard and Bernadette but I'm not sure 1) which is which, and 2) if Howard is a boy.
I know nothing about keeping birds, and it shows.
