April 19th 2008 was the big day. James Herriot's All Creatures Great and Small was the book, the food theme was a salad bar and I made steak au poivre and ordered 16 little baby girl chicks (pullets) through Anoka Feed and Seed, (they order from Privett). Each of the book club ladies was given the opportunity to name a chick, it was awesome! Without further ado...
