Mark doing what he loves - fly fishing and manages to fish about 100 days a year
I don't fish as much as he does but manage to get a few nice ones for myself. Caught this German Brown on the Snake Rive in Swan Valley, Idaho
A nice one with all the fishing gear - I hate that you have to wear so many under layers to keep warm - I look relly fat but it was about 20 degrees this morning on the Trinity River and I was glad for the layers.
Here is a picture of the beautiful sun sets that we see from our back porch. We call this "God's Sky"
This is the view of Mount Shasta that we see from the back of our house which is all glass windows. To the right we see Mount Lassen but don't have any good pictures of it right now.
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]This the natural pond that we have on the property and have plans to re-do and improve this coming year.[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]One of the gardens. Have had a great deal of problems keeping deer and wild turkeys out of it. They make us so mad, all the hard work and one day of dust baths from the turkeys and it can be ruined. So have had to re-do about 3 times now.[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]These are some pumpkins that we grew last year. We're blue with ourselves for not getting some in this year. But there's always next year.[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]This is tool shed that Mark built this year and plans to add an enclosed lend-to on the other side for lawn mower, tools etc. The fence is made from the branches on our fruitless mulberry tree that we save for these type of projects. We also used the branches to trim around the door and eves.[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]This is the iron gate that we built that leads into our berry patch. With deer and other wild critters everything has to be fenced[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]This is a lamp that I made for Mark for Christmas one year. The trunk is all welded and the bear hand cut with a plasma cutter.[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]Since our place is called "Dragonfly Ranch" thought it was only right to put one in the mantel when we remodeled the fireplace[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]Last for now - our scare crow with her trusty cat who keep everything is order in the garden for us[/FONT]
[FONT=comic sans ms,sand]We have only been on the property for 4 years and have so many projects to do and going. So we'll update some more later. Want to show some pictures of my remodeled "dream" kitchen but need to sort them out.[/FONT]
