Very well written, excellent source of information. The only thing I can think of to add is, Bob's, Blues, Gambles, Valleys and Mountain quail can be raised in large aviaries. They don't need to be seperated during breeding season if the enclosure is large and proper habitat is provided...but for the purpose of this article it is best for someone who has no knowledge of quail, to follow the author's advice.

Read this article because quite honestly, i knew nothing about quail, whatsoever. Never knew that there were so many varieties and sub varieties of them. I shouldnt be surprised, tho. I would like to start keeping quail and this was a great place to start. Was considering keeping the quail with the cute head feathers, but after reading this am thinking i need to start with coturnix quail.
