Great way to leverage your space limitations! Nice build.

Out of curiosity, did you come up with a solar/battery solution for keeping the waterer from freezing in the winter? My coop also doesn't have electricity and am figuring out how accommodate that for winter.

Sorry to be long in responding. I don't think it's possible without a giant solar array ;-). The solar cameras inside and outside the coop are already failing as we have cloudy skies and less light with fall in Rochester. I'm awaiting the brighter weather of winter (no leaf canopies, reflection from snow) to see if they perk up.

For their waterer I plan to use a birdbath de-icer and will have to improvise an extension cord from the garage.
