Interesting read. Covers a lot of facts that may not be well known. Anyone with animals should try to understand their behaviors and life. This helps with a subject not frequently covered.

As I've been watching Lucy and Miss Kitty drop their tail feathers I found this lovely article.

I would also add not to use wormers during the molt. Some of the broad spectrum ones cause fretted feathers. Other than that, I think this article was fabulous!
