It weighed in at 25.12 pounds. It is a 7 month old Royal Palm. Not sure if it is a Tom or a Hen. We have 2 and I hope we have 1 of each.

Anyone know how I can tell? I will try to get pic tomorrow.

Well, the other one is not much smaller but they each make a different sound. It's driving me nuts not knowing for sure.

I hope to have a Tom and Hen so that we can hatch some for fall of next year. You know, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

That is their names, by the way, had to add some humor to my backyard.

Maybe I'll find out more by posting a pic.

Sometimes individual birds have slight differences in their sounds. They could both be toms. I think size is the biggest clue. I'll wait for your pics....

My male Bourbon Red is about that age and size. I love them. I have him and two hens.

The other breed I'd like at some point is Sweet Grass.

The gobble and all the talking they do just makes me laugh.

I will never be without their comic relief. They also are very good watch birds for the chickens.

O.K. here are the best pictures that I could get of these ever moving animals. LOL

Is this one the Tom?

And is this one the Hen?
