I know everyone has their own recipe, so I thought I would share mine. It is SOOOO easy!

2-3 cups diced tomato
1 red onion
1 jalepeno
1 yellow pepper
1 bunch cilantro
Garlic salt

Blend all ingredients in a food processor, add garlic salt to taste.

This is my favortie non-chunky recipe.

Looks very good! Yellow peppers are so pricey here that I skip it, use more jalapenos, and I do add some lime juice- straight from the bottle.

I am really looking forward to tomato season, when we have fresh homegrown. Where is the Tupperware catalog, btw? I want the chopper thing!

I have a big bag of frozen peppers from last year's garden. Just kept slicing and freezing them on cookie sheets, then bagged them. Boy are we glad we did that last summer. We have peppers in almost every meal (as well as garlic)

I still have jars of "The Parsons wife salsa", aka: "summer in a jar" around here. This year I'll add more hot peppers though. Otherwise it is great. Sometimes I add fresh cilantro to it when we open it, besides some fresh frozen chopped jalapeno peppers.
Oh, oh, I better get some tortilla chips when I go to the store, I feel a munchie wave coming on.

That sounds good. Its pretty close to the ingredients in my pico recipe, except I didn't think of the garlic and I add some celery and lime juice.
I would take a portion of the tomato and blend it into a liquid and add it back to diced veggies.

I never measure or write down anything I do so that means I also never do anything quite the same twice, but I'm thinking I will do this for my wife who has been making noises that I haven't done a salsa in a while.

Dice some veggies, in no particular proportion other than tomato is around 3 to one to the others:
Tomatoes
red and yellow onion
celery
jalapeno ( I scrape the seeds and pith out which allows me to add more- I like the flavor)
bell pepper yellow or orange

chop some cilantro (we like a mega dose)

blend:
some of the tomato
some crushed garlic
some of the cilantro
the juice of a lime
a dash of salt if you use it

add the rest of the diced veggies and the blended liquid to a bowl and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to let the flavors marry.

I guess to avoid adding water to get enough liquid to soak the diced veggies, you would want to make sure you blended plenty of tomato.

Super easy salsa recipe

6-8 jalapenos
1 lg can diced tomatoes
1 bunch cilantro
1 can whole green chiles
1 large onion diced
salt,pepper, garlic to taste
lime juice

cut off the ends of the jalapenos & boil until tender. Add these to the blender, add the cilantro and blend. Dump into a bowl, add the tomatoes, onions, spices, chopped green chiles and lime juice. refridgerate until cool.
Use as dip or to top burritos, etc.

This recipe is fast and easy.
