He was an extraordinary special person. He will be sadly sadly missed, but fortunately always remember for his wonderful films, which I can watch to this day and be enthralled, and for his many philanthropic activities, which made a difference to millions. RIP.
 
Wow...I just saw this post. Been hatching Serama eggs, so haven't seen the news. I am crushed. He is one of those people that didn't waste a moment on this earth. He left a fine legacy behind.
He will be missed.

Yes a great man, I like the fact that he never let hollywood get to him and his way of life. he seemed to zest for life, a great 50 yr marriage, race car driver, charitable heart, do not like the fact that my DW thinks he is more handsome than me hehe.
