Spent my Saturday evening at the Cement auction visiting with my good friends in the Okies BYC, Carla and Gerald, who are allways on look out for that very special bird, K.T/HennyPennies and her Hubby Mike, Mike by the way has now caught the fever and has a chicken Program. Things were a bit slow and not very many birds this month, but the people turned out in droves, so it was a sellers market for the first time this yr at Cement. it was all over by 9:00 pm. as allways i had a great time talking chickens with my bud's. I sure wish I may one day get a chance to meet some of you others.

Ronnie: There is a lady in Eureka Springs ARK. that has a redwood incubator for sale. It is $200. Supposedly in good shape. If it were closer to me I would probably buy it. I know that is still a long way for you but still might be worth checking out. Let me know if you want her email address and I will pm it to you.

Lol Stimp. Yeah... Buckguy made me feel a little better by thinking of him as a chicken coop raider! Now it's like next time I'll aim for them... Just kidding. There was a lot of run over stuff that night, coons coyotes and a couple of armadillos. In california when that happens ya know an earthquake is coming.

I know I am being a pain here, anyone have the info for the chickenstock this month. I have a friend that wants to come down from Missouri and I need to give her the dates so she can plan it. Or tell me about what page number it is on.

I thought you were gonna treat them to a sweet tater and coon casserole. That would be better than giving up a chicken.
Of course you could make gumbo and just tell them it was chicken since "everything" tastes just like chicken.

chickensandmore...do you live by Siloam Springs??? Because if so...it was me...

List of things I hit this weekend:
1 Dead Skunk (car REEKS!!!)
1 Raccon
1 2Liter of Dr. Pepper (FULL)
1 Bat (As in flying mammal...) I felt AWFUL about the bat....

Forgot...hit a squirrel too...

LOL...for some reason, squirrels like to use my truck for suicide. I hit one or two a week going back and forth to work...and I try not to hit them, but they insist! Just when I think they have headed off the other direction, they turn and BANG....they be dead!

That is so exciting! I'm glad you and your birds did so well. I didn't realize they had showmanship at Newcastle. Its so sweet that you say that about the d'Uccle. Makes me feel real special, since I never got to show any of my birds.

I couldn't believe my sister wanted to go, she never really wanted to mess with my chickens. But she loved the show!
