New Project "Road to Ok" Quilt for My Bed (Top Finished!)

That pillow part is just part of the quilt. No doctor has said anything about doing surgery for my carpal tunnel, but it's really not so bad most of the time. The sewing machine some wonderful friends bought me really has saved my wrist! Now, I'm not already exhausted and in terrible pain before the actual quilting starts!

***ETA: I found that I do have plenty of fabric for the backing, thanks to kathyinmo! Yippeeee! On the other hand, I also found that my thread tension was producing loops on the back of some of the pieces, making the sewing much more weak, so I hope I didn't do to much before I found that out.

The top is DONE! Worked on it all day; naturally now it's too late to take a picture outside in the natural light, but here are some pics of it on the bed. My camera is very old and has no low light feature, so the pics in the house are usually grainy and dark. Please ignore that ugly wallpaper. I've removed the border above the chair rail and will be removing the rest of that wallpaper, as well as the chair rail, but this is the only bed I have to show the quilt on.

I see that among the fabric Kathy sent, I have enough to do the backing as well! Kathy, must talk to you about what you'd charge me to machine quilt it.

That blue thing in the last pic hanging down is under the quilt, not part of it. You're probably thinking I'm completely color blind, LOL. Took 12 days to get here. I'm certainly no MissPrissy!

Well, it's nice if you stand back and squint. Just don't get too close, LOL. However, it's a quilt and has the little flaws that come from my bad eyesight and crampy hands and self-learned quilt techniques, so it's me.
