here is my result from a splash rock roo and cuckoo marans hen.she is a big friendly girl who lays a nice big egg.

here is my result from a blue andalusian roo and a blue maran s hen.she is lean,kinda friendly and lays a nice tan colored egg.

I love Heinz 57 chickens! We have several. This one is a picture of Easter, her mother is our beautiful buff cochin Leia, and her father was a gorgeous Americana. She has feathered feet and ear puffs.

She now has 5 babies with her, all mixes! They are so much fun because they are always a surprise!

I had some "Policaunas" too, but they were black copper in color, and I sold them.
 
Well, I don't actually have any crosses. Yet.... But sometime this weekend I should have some hatching out. Our White Crested Black Polish Rooster tried to pick a fight with our Golden Retriever and the poor Rooster didn't win the battle. So I grabbed a few eggs out of the fridge that had been in there for about 3 weeks and grabbed the 4 out of the nest box for the day. I'm anxious to see what they will look like. The hens are a Barred Rock, Red Comet, Black Comet, and 2 RIR. Any ideas what these mutts will look like? I'm terrible with genetics, but I really wanted a baby from our roo. I'll post pics when they hatch and as they grow, that is if you guys don't mind!
