    Easter egger without muffs and beard

    I have a 16 week old ee without muffs but she has a pea comb and slate colored legs...I am waiting to see what color egg she lays. She came from a farm store.

    I've never thought of using a heating pad instead of a light...can you tell me exactly how you use it and is it just a regular old heating pad that we use for back pain, etc? Do the chicks get it wet? Thank you in advance. of
