Hello All,
Just returned to hatching (and this forum) after a LOOOOONG hiatus. Got some new eggs this week and set up my incubator....My problem is I have a pretty big difference in temperatures across the board with my digital thermometers. I put two in there and they were way off from each...
So....over a year ago I had two incubators and hatched all my own chicks. I have since sold one of those incubators and kept one. I decided to try and hatch some quail so a few days ago I revved up the incubator. I left both thermometers in there (digital temp/humidy). They both said two...

I have been looking at several hatcheries since thinking about raising some for meat for my family. There is a local who hatches and sells them for $3 each...i know there wouldnt be shipping involved, but still....isn't that a bit much?
