The anticipation of an approaching hatch day is way more exciting than Christmas and birthday combined, ahh I keep peering through the window of my incubator.
We ordered button quail eggs from Burton's Pirogue Aviaries! It's day 11, and all the eggs are developing and I see movement in most of them. Wow! There are four I can't see inside very well because the shells are dark brown, but what little light shines through does show a web of veins. All of them! They shipped from Missouri to Oregon, and they're doing just fine. I am amazed.
Hi, I just read in your intro that you do miniatures...is your avatar a photo of some you've made?
I'm so excited! We ordered some button quail eggs to try our incubator out with. They will be here around the 11th of March! I really do hope all goes well. -
