Fried it. The white was so creamy. So much flavor!! It was interesting to see how the yolk and the white stood up tall in the pan. What a difference! .
How many hours of sunlight are they getting? My research indicates they need at least 14 hours. This comes from someone who is a newbie and still waiting for my 1st egg. So, in other words, my opinion is worth what it cost you.
So we installed a light in the coop to come on at 3 a.m. so our chicken would get at least 14 hours of sunlight. My husband went to feed them today and one of them did the SQUAT!!!!!!! Surprised the fool out of us. Super excited!
Alarm went off at 2:45. Looked at it through bleary eyes. Turned off alarm clock. Back to sleep. It sounded like a good idea at the time. All chickens' faces VERY red except for the smallest chicken. I'm hopeful.
