I put my 16 month old Frizzle (white) hen in with a buff Polish roo who is 8 months old now and no eggs - he has 5 Polish hens in with him also and nothing there either! I am pretty frustrated. Is this an age thing or do I need to feed them differently? They are still getting chick feed...

It seems that the water bucket is kind of difficult to refill......? I mean, you have to fill the water jug and then lift it and set it inside the 5 gal. bucket. Is there some reason you can't just fill the 5 with a hose? Use a smaller water bottle as a "float" maybe? I would like to make one...
