    Today I went out for the eggs and got the strangest Egg from Our Chicken named Nugget. I mean the shell is solid, just looks like it had a REALLY rought trip out... See Pic. What the Heck could have caused it?

    I bought 8 hens from another Local to start a Flock. All but 2 were laying when I got them. They did not lay for me for 3 weeks than all the sudden one a day and then 2 a day and now 5-6 a day from 8, so not too bad. It just took them a while to get comfy... Now I'm swimmin in Eggs... Can't...

    6 out of 8 hens today... lately we get 5 4 days a week and 6 the other 3 days... They're getting this thing figured out, Go Team... I've got 2 hens layig Really pink eggs... They look so cool.

    I just got 8 hens as well, we've got 2 eggs so far and I have heard Chickens hate change... I also remodelled the coop so I figure it will take them some time to adjust. Then, Bring on the eggs...

    Funny... today mine were running around in the snow while i remodelled... it was 15 degrees out with a light breeze all day probably putting us at single digits...

    Finished remodelling the coop today as it was a nice balmy 15 degrees out... Expanded the area inside for them to run around and moved the nesting boxes in, made a doorway that i can shut at night to keep it a little toastier at night and I ordered a 250W Ceramic heat bulb to replace the red...
