Don Roberto Feed for Hens and Rooster?

I've seen this Don Roberto Feed at my local feed store and was wondering if this would be good feed for my hens and a rooster? Would this be good feed for the hot desert summer?

What sort of misters? The coop is a good 100 or more feet from a hose pipe (have to use a super long hose). Under 2 shade trees, but still hot.

I'm actually thinking of trying my flock on Producers Pride Layer feed. Great price.

    Calcium concern

My chickens eggs have strong shells. I feed either Dumor All Flock or Purina Flock Raiser and always have Oyster Shell in a different container in the coop. I also give them canned dog food everyday and leftover veggies as snacks. Eggs are perfect quality and are delicious. I have 14 hens and 1...

I also lived in Florida and dang all the fruits and veggies were all imported from other states. Very pricy too!

The April 2021 Local Feed Prices Thread

I buy all my feed at TSC. I noticed that Purina feed all went up in price. Layena Pellets are now $17.49 for 50lb. They used to be a dollar or two cheaper.

    Bland Tasting Eggs

How do I make my eggs tasty? What am I doing wrong? I have 2 chickens that started laying eggs about 2 weeks ago (A Delaware and Barred Rock). I also have a rooster and 11 pullets that should start laying in a couple months. The eggs taste so bland...much blander than store bought eggs from...

He was supposed to be a pullet, but I'm so happy that he's a cockerel.

Putting 2 mean chicks outside in the chicken coop

They have most of their feathers (just missing their head feathers) and are the biggest chicks that are 3 weeks old. I only have a seperate brooder for injured chicks only. So far the two chicks were in the chicken coop for half a day and night and have done pretty well. They just constantly...

Putting 2 mean chicks outside in the chicken coop

I already had 4 little chicks injured by those two (they usually peck at the waddle area), so I'm not sure what else to do.

Putting 2 mean chicks outside in the chicken coop

So I have two 3 week old mean chicks that instigate pecking and harming the other chicks that are 2 and 3 weeks old. I put those two outside with my two big chicks (9 weeks old) that absolutely hate them. I had to do that or else all my little chicks will be injured in some way.
