    Yeah - the main consensus I've seen on here is humidity in the 40s for the first 18, around 65% for lockdown. And decrease the surface area of the water in the trays to decrease the humidity. But - at the same time, keep an eye on the egg weights to make sure you're losing enough water...

    60% sounds a little high - don't forget to weigh your eggs before you start incubating so you make sure they're losing moisture at the correct rate!

    Here go. I kind of wish I had looked for 1/8" - it would be easier to dial down the drip rate. I may check to see if they have it, next time I go in. Which, you know, since I need to build another coop, will be pretty soon.

    I'm officially playing with silkies. Got some eggs from kentuckysilkies, and had hatching last weekend! Please pardon the baby overload - So, help me here. Is this white or buff? Then, I guess these two are splash? And these darker ones - partridge? -ish? That last one...
