Our geese is a mix of sebastopols and cotton patch geese they are free range till breeding season they go right into the garden HOWEVER mine do not eat anything out of my garden which to me is crazy.. they go into it though which when we have young plants growing they sometimes walk right on top...
I posted this earlier this year in January to see if anyone out in BYC has Shetland Geese and if they sold hatching eggs or goslings. I am putting it out there to see again for this coming spring!!!
I know Holderreads does have goslings but they already have a waiting list for this spring :)

The grey in front is in question. I bought him knowing she had smooth in her flock I am fine with smooth in my breeding program. BUT he is now 4 months I am new to smooth but should he have basically NO curling but more flat feathers??? Thanks!!!!

Well I have two bourbons that have begun to lay. I stuck 3 eggs under a broody chicken about a week and half ago, checked them today and none grew. Maybe I don't know what a fertile turkey egg looks like when cracked open lol... (first year with turkeys) but isn't the same as chicken a dot with...
I have a female this year that her eggs have been coming up about 75% infertile...Then on top of it she had some crazy werid egg that was fertilzed with her stuff and our males like 8 times it look like chicken pox all over the yolk...
I will let her breed again next year check her eggs but...
The association is under way slowly. We have no standards set yet. Its a work in progress thats for sure! Right now we are all trying to figure out who has them and what the different strains peoples are from!

Anyways, as for finding adult Cotton Patch that people are willing to sell is VERY HARD. These are Rare birds that are hard to find as adults because people keep their adults.
