    Here is the coop we made with stuff we just had laying around. The frame is made from an old pallet that a riding mower came on and the nest box is an old toy box that my oldest had out grown. Had a few pieces of flooring left over from a bathroom project that i put in the box for easy cleaning...

    Mine finally started yesterday while i was at work. I got 2 on the ground and 5 more pipping so i suppose not a total loss.

    Im not sure. I checked them the evening before and everything was fine. When i checked them the following evening they were way up there. Im not sure how long or how hot. My temp gauge omly goes to 100 but it was over that enough to make me freak. I thought i saw one rock earlier but i been...

    Went to put mine in lockdown and my temp had spiked to over 105 I think i killed them.

    Ive got 28 that has made it so far [started with 34] and will candle again on lock down. Mine are also due on the 24th. Thats my birthday so happy birthday to me.

    I tried this same thing this time around. My humidity stays right at 28 percent rh. Think thats enough?

    If you look really close there will be tiny little holes all over the top and bottom of it. That is how the air flows through it. Yes important.

    My friend wanted some so i will also have 24 mutts in there with my 10 so im hoping everything goes well. Dont wana lose 34 eggs. I have only hatched once a few weeks ago so hoping for the best. The first hatch went well so i got high hopes.

    I just recieved my lav orp eggs from bargain tonight. She is a very nice lady and does a great job of packing them and keeping you up to date on shipping. Im puting mine in the bator tomirow night so they will hatch on my birthday. Good luck on your hatch.
