  • Yes, textbooks can be a bit like that. Which is why I hardly ever read them in much depth. One can gain passable knowledge through listening to the teacher talk. :P Then again, some textbooks just can't be avoided... *throws maths out of the window* lol jk

I've never been to a concert. I can imagine it would be quite loud though. I went to a social eons ago I had to take frequent breaks to go outside and get my hearing back. :P

I am getting very good at the Big Bang theme song. I even wrote a parody for it. A terrible one, but then again my parodies have never been very good, lol.
Journey! That's so awesome. Weren't they the people who originally sang Don't stop believing, that song from Glee? I like that song.

lol. I know no Pokemon theme songs, although I am quite a pro at locationally themed music. I can do sailing, gym and a couple of towns. 8)
    lmao, this is so sad!!

Aww, poor Ooj. *virtul hugs* Maths is stinky. We're doing statistics right now. The only fun part of it is the statistician jokes we watch on Youtube, because our class is crazy like that. :P
lol, it happens all too often, doesn't it. I remember once I left a message unreplied to for a month. I kept saying I'd do it tomorrow. :P

That's cool. It's been ages since I went to a concert of any type. The last one was probably our year 8/9 musical, years ago. So much fun.

lol, and Feebas. (Plural: Feebi - we have this enduring joke about that)

Well, if that's the case, poor x must be having an awful time of it. He must be wondering why people keep singling him out to go in equations. :P

I did ok in the test. Well, I got 20/30, but some other people got 11, so I did ok. *mops brow*
    Hello Ooj,

I found a reference to the word "behooved" in Pokemon, of all places. (Quite an old one though)

I've just had a physics test conplete with a = -w^2x and friends. I spent lunch memorising everything about resonance in the notebook. There was nothing about resonance in the tes. Phail. :P
    Optimising Petroleum Surveying.
    This is fun. :D

Behooved. I don't think I've ever heard that word before, it might be an American one. :L (Don't you just love that smiley? :L :L)

They did, didn't they. "It's a warm summer evening in ancient Greece!" SHeldon proclaims emphatically, trying to explain the origins of physics.

At least I hope that was Greece and not, like, Italy or something. My memory of quotes I hear long ago becomes somewhat fuzzy.
Operational Plant Shipping. That's a win.
How about Oriental Pickled Salads? lol.

No, I am referring to our very own OPS, here on Byc.
I was a Joo with many various adjectives applied to me. Including "somewhat insane" and "bemused". :P

I wonder why they picked Greek characters for physics and chem. All you hear is "Delta H" and "Omega squared" and "Lambda". Like, "V = F-Lambda." lol. They could've chosen Russian or Arabic, or something. Maybe all the famous mathematicians came from Greece or something. :P
    It was an omega. :P

(the w thing. I ran out of time just then on the computer, so I didn't get to finish my train of thought. lol.)
Ah, the poor Ooj. *sends Ooj a virtual box of chocolates* (even though we are in a drought, lol)

For a contest in OPS. Going back to the olden days, I used to do lots of those. :P

Remember that weird equation with the thing that looks like a w but isn't a w? It has something to do with that. *scratches chin*
Hello Ooj. Anything new going on down your end? I have just finished drawing a contest prize. It went pretty well. Kind of made up for the fact that I couldn't figure out the magnitude of the acceleration of a magnet with unspecified mass undergoing simple harmonic motion. :P
*pats the zombie-like Ooj on the back* Everyone round here is getting sick too. There must be something in the air.
You should throw a few sickies. I hate having to work when I'm sick, although with JM I can go whenever I want, so I can just procrastinate all day and then bumble out in the fading light, sniffling, eyes watering. :P

Dentures are kind of scary. Can you imagine them looking at you from a glass of water beside your bed every night? lol.
A chocolate drought would be quite comparable to a normal drought. There might be chocolate restrictions. Which nobody pays attention to, drinking hot chocolate while hose-watering their lawns. Hehe.

I know right. I hate needles. Luckily for me I didn't need to have any needles, just a little scrapy thing that didn't hurt too badly.

*crowd stands up and roars its appreciation.*

    :P
