  • That's cute. What a nice sister you are!
I still remember the commbank ad where the boy got his sister a really creepy looking fish... :P

I don't believe you would've read it, or I would be very surprised at the awesome understanding you have of German. The bit about the tree was probably the only line I could interpret. :P
Ooh, what did you get him? I got my host father a trains calendar. We spent a while looking through it together. Trains are so awesome. :P

Your tree does sound pretty cool.
Except ours kept reminding me of a Christmas poem I recently saw, where the tree was on fire. lol.
That's all well Ooj. Hope you're having a good hollies yourself. (What the, I just wrote something that looked remarkably like "holy lilies")
I actually got to celebrate Christmas this year. Yippee! With presents and everything. And candles in the tree. :P
Chemistry exams are honestly one of the seven wonders of the world - how many things included that are supposed to be relevant to work done this year, but in reality bear the most minimalistic resemblance to the coursework as to promote a serious re-evaluation of life. :P

Yeah, I know right? I think it's because the main body of the question, which is supposed to be additional details, is given way to a pretty inaccurate drawing of a molecule... (I only just noticed that the two hydrogens on either side of the oxygen are meant to be on either side of the carbon next to it. :P)
Oh you like it? lol, I had fun making that with no gloves on...
And yes, it was such an epic movie. I saw it the day before I left to come here. So many explosions. :P

I have another picture of that yard covered in snow, but getting photos off my phone is such a tedious process I can't be bothered starting it. Especially as I've just finished doing my chemistry exam part 2 (my chemistry teacher sent these to us to do, you know for a bit of bedtime reading and such... :P)

I googled the answers afterwards. I think I did okay.
By the way, how hilarious is this question?

    I'll get onto that genie!

    Oh poor Ooj. *pats Ooj*
y spelling's doing okay today. I think it's because my fingers are warm from typing up all the reasons why Kc is going to decrease because the products have been removed blah blah.
Oh yes, I shall have to upload some more! I've got heaps more now. Keep an eye on that thread. ;)

Ah that. it's actually the school yard. lmao. It was just after break had finished. Usually I would've been knocked over by the enthusiastic soccer game going on among the little children if I stood there... :P

Oh no, not the M word. D: Good luck with that.

Bratwurst is so good, isn't it? Unlike Australian sausages, which I have a hard time even eating. :P
Pure epicness. :P Erm, there WAS snow outside in the early hours of the morning... not sure what that is now *peers gingerly out of window*

Yesterday we went to the christmas markets at the Rathaus (town hall. The australians all find the word Rathaus hilarious because of its association with politicians...)

What busy things has poor Ooj been up to? *pats Ooj and offers some bratwurst*
Measuring precipitates! That sounds fun, indeed. We sometimes get to make precipitates. The most common one to do is lead nitrate and potassium iodide. I am usually more interested in the fact that we're making KNO3 than that there's a pretty yellow stuff growing inside the test tube. :P

I swear I am losing my ability to type. I keep making mistakes. Like "tes tube" - I had to go back and change that (and I just wrote "ahcnage" instead of change too) I wonder if it's the jet lag or the fact that even though it's 8:45 am it's still murky and dark-ish outside. Or maybe I'm just being floored by the UNBELIEVABLE speed of internet here. :P I blink and my page has loaded... it's crazy!

Pear cubes. lol. I like that one. I have another chemistry joke.
The formula for water is H2O.
    What's the formula for ice?
    H2O cubed.

    (I know, it's terrible)
