I actually got to celebrate Christmas this year. Yippee! With presents and everything. And candles in the tree.

Chemistry exams are honestly one of the seven wonders of the world - how many things included that are supposed to be relevant to work done this year, but in reality bear the most minimalistic resemblance to the coursework as to promote a serious re-evaluation of life.

Yeah, I know right? I think it's because the main body of the question, which is supposed to be additional details, is given way to a pretty inaccurate drawing of a molecule... (I only just noticed that the two hydrogens on either side of the oxygen are meant to be on either side of the carbon next to it. )

I have another picture of that yard covered in snow, but getting photos off my phone is such a tedious process I can't be bothered starting it. Especially as I've just finished doing my chemistry exam part 2 (my chemistry teacher sent these to us to do, you know for a bit of bedtime reading and such... :P)

Measuring precipitates! That sounds fun, indeed. We sometimes get to make precipitates. The most common one to do is lead nitrate and potassium iodide. I am usually more interested in the fact that we're making KNO3 than that there's a pretty yellow stuff growing inside the test tube.

I swear I am losing my ability to type. I keep making mistakes. Like "tes tube" - I had to go back and change that (and I just wrote "ahcnage" instead of change too) I wonder if it's the jet lag or the fact that even though it's 8:45 am it's still murky and dark-ish outside. Or maybe I'm just being floored by the UNBELIEVABLE speed of internet here. I blink and my page has loaded... it's crazy!
