Things during the day are getting better. But still no one else is allowed on the 2 roosting bars besides the one hen. But she isn't hurting anyone so I guess I'll just let it go? The way our coop is, there is no space for a new roosting area.

We just bought the premier poultry net. I haven't powered it up yet, but I was wondering if my 9 week old chicks will still be able to get through the holes when it is electrified? Is it electrified just above the bottom string?

My buff has some dried poop on her feathers under her vent... no sign of infection or anything. Does this require a bath or will it work itself out? Thx!

Thanks Kathy. Looking at some more pics online I think it must be tapeworm, is safeguard for 5 days the best way to go or should I try Valbazen?

I'm 99% positive my Roo has worms... He has watery poop with these nasty little white larvae looking things in it. I've given him safeguard twice in the last month, about a week apart and still the nasty poop. He is showing no other signs really... The occasional nap maybe but I catch them all...

We are in Virginia so pretty hot in the summer. Other than running an extension cord from the house, a fan isn't a option. That said, the shed is in a shady area.
