Awwww.. If it looks infected, I would suggest a warm epsom salt soak but I think it would be best to visit a vet so they know exactly what it is. Hope he gets better soon and I love his name!! So cute >.<

Awww.. these photo's are toooo cute!! My ducklings are three weeks old now! One is a Magpie and one is a Cayuga but I am not sure he/she is a Cayuga/Saxony mix as there are light bits below the eyes. Never seen it on a Cayuga duckling before. Does anyone know?

You didn't do anything wrong. Usually if you have more than one duckling.. they imprint on each other strongly and when they get to three weeks they don't need us anymore. But, when I hatched just one duckling.. they imprinted on me solely and didn't even know what another duck looks like.. so...
