BROODER thread! Post pics of your brooders!

I was using big rubber totes, which I have a couple of young ones in. I have 30 chicks this year, so a larger brooder was in order. My hens will not be happy with all the young ones!

10 day old chick with blood in stool

Feeding organic unmediated chick starter with electrolyte water. Picked up some Braggs ACV and some probiotic this morning and don't know which I should change the water out to. Thank you! 28 chicks in the brooder, so I don't know which one.

Need to buy eggs for a school Hatch around January 1st Houston,Tx

Maybe Leghorns. Any place to buy them locally? Or where to order? Something light so the kids can see when candled. They will be joining my flock of 11, along with pullets. The teacher requested the hatch at school since they will be studying lifecycle around that times. Thank you!!

Organic Feed, Where Online? Not Available Locally. What Brand Is Best?

New to chickens, first 12 chicks and I got the starter they had, but want to feed organic. One feed store has Purina Natural, but nobody locally has organic. Where can I find it online with reasonable shipping? Thanks!

    Texas

New Texas girl. Tomball, sort of a suburb of Houston. 12 hopefully baby hens nearly two weeks old. Finally unrestricted. We had more acreage at our last place, but chickens were restricted by HOA. Only horses allowed.

Newbie-12 Babies, Coop plans/ideas for around 20 chickens? Purchase plans or download free

We need a coop. Hubs is pretty handy with wood work and is willing to start a coop this weekend. Week old babies, 12 pullets. Would like to round to about 20 hens I am guessing. Space isn't an issue and I want a big run and will free range some when home and outside to watch them. Would...
