    I have 3 hens hatching chicks right now and we had choose to only have one be the mother hen but someone had told us that if we did that the other hens would not set anymore by not letting them mother the chicks. I was wonder was this true??? Please help first time hatching chicks.

    please help broody hen

    I have a broody hen. This is the 1st time for me. I know she has some eggs under her but I don't know how many. Can I move her to check the egg and then put her back?? I'm worried if I move her she won't want to seat anymore. Please help.

    There about 5 weeks old. I just don't want anyone to get hurt. I really just want everyone to get along. I'm just looking for the best way to introduce everyone. Yeah I was think maybe I should try supervised visits for a little while. Hopefully it will work out

    I don't have a lot of room. I didn't realize when I got chicks given to me that this would be a problem. I'm just don't want anyone to get hurt. I was thinking I could have them together during the day when I'm around and put them in a dog box at night. Do you think this might work.

    I also have chicks so I've been feeding them chick starter non medicated, grass and they have been eating bugs and worms when I take them out in the yard.

    I was wondering how you can tell if your duck is a female or male?? I know mine are still a little to young right now but would like to know how when they get a little older. I have 2 runner ducks and a mallard 3-4 weeks old. Can you tell now or how can I when they get older?? Please help!! Thanks!!

    I have a rooster that likes to attack me and only me. I have never harmed or done anything to him. I just don't understand why he doesn't like me and I'm the only one he does this too. Can someone tell me why he does this to me and can I fix this????
