I have 3 hens hatching chicks right now and we had choose to only have one be the mother hen but someone had told us that if we did that the other hens would not set anymore by not letting them mother the chicks. I was wonder was this true??? Please help first time hatching chicks.

I have a broody hen. This is the 1st time for me. I know she has some eggs under her but I don't know how many. Can I move her to check the egg and then put her back?? I'm worried if I move her she won't want to seat anymore. Please help.

I also have chicks so I've been feeding them chick starter non medicated, grass and they have been eating bugs and worms when I take them out in the yard.
I was wondering how you can tell if your duck is a female or male?? I know mine are still a little to young right now but would like to know how when they get a little older. I know that you can get them just in water. But I didn't know if that's something they would eat. Or really anything else that should be feeding them that I'm not already giving them
I have a rooster that likes to attack me and only me. I have never harmed or done anything to him. I just don't understand why he doesn't like me and I'm the only one he does this too. Can someone tell me why he does this to me and can I fix this????
