26 Maran Eggs in the incubator (French Black Copper, Wheaten, BBS) due on November 2nd. I haven't had much luck with Maran's in the past, so crossing my fingers.
I just wanted to pop back in and let everyone know that I am out of the breeding program. My silkied rooster died earlier in the summer, and I was only able to hatch 10 F1-F2 chicks all summer. I still have 3 fluffy hens, but they are not laying now. I really haven't been able to get anywhere...

So sorry to hear of the recent losses. The eggs under my broody did not hatch. But I am not surprised - that hen was very erratic and did not stay on her eggs enough. Many of the eggs were developed, just didn't hatch.
