I was gonna ask the same question as I am in south east PA. IT gets cold up here and this will be the first year with the girls. ANy help would be very appreciated! Thanks
thanks for all the advise. I am due March 19 with TWINS! I also have a 4 year old and a 8 month old. (i must be nuts)
How do I find the group for expantant parents? Thanks again
thanks, wasn't sure if you could catch anything from teh birds like you can with Kittie litter. It is my 3rd pregnancy but first one with owning chickies!
thanks the stones are not sharp just the genric gray gardening stones. WE did cover them with soil but today is raining and it is flooded back there. Should I lay sand on top?
THe Ivy is gone after the DH and 4 year old son recovered from it.
what does everyone use on teh floor in their coop? We have a wood floor. What should w put on it to soak up wet and keep smell down? How often do you have to change it out?
Hi, we are still building our coop, hopefully to have it complete this weekend since the girls are way too big for their rabbit cage. THe area we are puttint he coop on is a 12 X 12 are that used to home ducks. Once the Ducks were gone my dad had broke up the concrete and added a ton of stones...
When I asked htis question I was told if your babies are only getting starter and no other food then they do not need grit. If you wanna give them treats then start the grit and treats no earlier than 2 weeks.
my girls are no longer needed a light so I put the waters on a brick of wood at one end of the brooder and the feeders on the other end. It seems to stay slightly cleaner being away fro teh feeder but I am gonna try the nipple bottle today since i have one laying around!
